God's Men Blessing My Boy-The last time we did this was at his barmitzpha
We've been living at the speed of Life as of late. So much has been going on that it has my head spinning!
Zack recently moved to KC Kansas to live with his grandparents & study the piano under Roxanne Adrian. It is temporary but tell that to my heart. I had a tough time letting my boy go. I still get choked up when I think about Zack not being here. I really miss him. Beth reminded me that we'll get to do this 6 more times. Our house is strangely quiet with our Zack.
The Baptisms were a huge blessing! I love seeing new life in the body of Christ. Praises to God from whom our rescue flows from the finished work of Christ on the Cross! We Believe!

Young Preacher Boys

James Creath & Zack Dziadul joined me in delivering the Sermon today. Our young people handled nearly the entire service today. Zack lead the worship along with his sister & our regular worship team all of whom are under 18.
They did a great job in selecting the songs & leading the congregation in worship.
The sermon was on the 5th commandment. I asked Zack & James if they'd like to take the sermon time. As they began to study the text they came up with the following outline:

The Children’s Role
Honor DEFINED [The What]
Honor DIRECTED [The Who]
Honor DEMANDED [The Why]

The Parent’s Role
DISCIPLINE
Pr 13:24
DELIGHT
3 John 1:4
DEMONSTRATION
Gal. 6:7

God’s Role
The FIRST Inhabitants
Exodus 23:20-33
The FUTURE Inhabitants
Ezekiel 22:7 & 15
The ENRICHMENT of Life
Eph. 6:3
The EXTENSION of Life

These young men didn't feel comfortable speaking on the middle point & that fell to me. I gave the introduction, Zack spoke on the Children's role, I took the Parent's role, & James took God's role.

They did an excellent job!!! I counted at least 6 people that came just to hear the young preacher boys. I posted it on our community yahoo group & folks came. They were really impressed with their handling of God's Word.

Please go to WWW.CWWMacon.com & go under the sermons. Look for "Honor Your Parents" & then listen to this sermon. Way to go men!

Dream Come True...

Today marks a most memorable event for me...I'm about to burst with pride. Last week I asked Zack to work on putting Psalm 119:9-16 to music. We're memorizing Psalm 119 as a Church this year. All 176 verses. We're trying to put it to music, word for word from the New King James version of scripture. I was just hoping that he could maybe get the tune going for me then I could finish it. I've never written a song with a piano & that opened the door for a whole new way of writing. Life got real busy & I forgot about it but Zack didn't. I was very surprised when he told me today that he had it a little more than half way done.
What he had done was excellent & very different than anything I would have come up with. We worked, fought, & argued our way through the next three verses. We figured out how to work together. Zack tightened up my loose musical ways & I was able to loosen him up & get him to think outside the box. The vast majority was Zack's arrangement & I have to say that it is AWESOME!!!
I'm trying to figure out how to get it on my blog but I haven't got there yet. I'll figure it out soon

Great Father's Day Gift

I told Zack that all I wanted for Father's Day was a clean basement & my shop area set up. Well, he exceeded my expectations to say the least. Zack wisely enlisted the help of my brother David. The two of them spent several days down in the basement last week. "Uncle Clean" is a great asset to messy basements everywhere.
My favorite part was seeing all my tools neatly arranged on the peg board. I even discovered a fantastic set of Craftsman screwdrivers on the board. That was a Father's day gift from my other boys & dear wife.

Thank You to Zack & David for all your hard work. I can't wait to get down there & start my next project which I can't tell right now because it is a surprise.
Thanks to my children for a great Father's Day
